Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced journalist to join our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and a keen sense of news, with the ability to cover a variety of rounds including news, council, community, entertainment or sport.

Strong research skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

The successful applicant will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and will have a high level of flexibility to meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.

The successful candidate will also have an understanding of digital and social media platforms and the ability to take quality photos.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and write engaging news stories for publication
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and sources
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of editorial policies and procedures
  • Work closely with other journalists and production staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of content
  • Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in the industry
