Vocational Education and Training Middle Leader

Downlands College is seeking a qualified professional to lead the Vocational Education and Training (VET) department and manage the College's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, qualifications to teach one or more VET courses, and experience in managing an RTO portfolio. They will also be willing to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College and demonstrate confidence in extending and enriching student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the VET department and manage the RTO portfolio
  • Develop and implement effective training programs
  • Manage and maintain accreditation and registration
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student learning
  • Contribute to the College's co-curricular life

Requirements:

  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Qualifications to teach one or more VET courses
  • Experience in managing an RTO portfolio
  • Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College
  • Confidence in extending and enriching student learning

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: $84,077 - $123,101 (FTE) plus super
  • Tier 2 Middle Leadership allowance of $12,648 per annum
