Our Accounting Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our growing firm.
We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality services to our clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory and accounting standards;
- Review tax returns for compliance and identify noncompliance issues;
- Perform tax planning for clients and prepare tax returns for all entities;
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;
- Assist in the preparation of business activity statements and quarterly/annual tax compliance matters;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations;
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- CA or CPA Qualification or partly completed;
- 2-3 years Business Services/Tax experience;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications;
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability;
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Advanced Professional Solutions APS (desired);
- Xero.
