Quality Assurance Professional

You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of our products. As a Quality Assurance Professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into the development process, and identifying and mitigating risks through proactive troubleshooting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for user acceptance and system testing.
  • Collaborate closely with agile teams to integrate testing into the development process.
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis to support defect resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.
  • Maintain detailed test documentation, including test matrices and traceability.
  • Leverage basic SQL skills to validate data and perform back-end testing.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and report defects.
  • Prioritise tasks and manage testing timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build strong relationships across technical and business teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a testing and/or change environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing best practices and methodologies.
  • Proven experience writing test matrices, test cases, and UAT scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing and regression testing.
  • Familiarity with basic SQL for querying and validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage defects through to resolution.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, with understanding of Agile ceremonies and planning.
  • Effective stakeholder communication, including reporting test outcomes and risks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • General knowledge of financial markets and/or financial platforms.
  • Experience facilitating or contributing to testing workshops.
  • Excellent organisation and time management under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on team collaboration and trust building.
