Job Opportunity: Production Management Role

\

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in production or engineering who are looking to take on a leadership position within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of production and maintenance activities. They will have a team of 70 to manage, with 9 direct reports.

\

The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a proactive safety culture, managing daily production, controlling costs, overseeing preventative and reactive maintenance programs, planning and delivering minor engineering projects, maintaining product quality, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team.

  • A strong track record of improving processes, reducing waste, and increasing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience managing both production and maintenance operations, as well as delivering minor engineering or equipment upgrade projects.
  • A solid understanding of HSE compliance and frontline risk management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage high-performing teams across shifts.
