Plastic Surgery Practice Operations Manager

The role of the Practice Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of daily activities, guaranteeing exceptional patient care and efficient business processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day practice operations to maintain a smooth running environment.
- Supervise, train, and support administrative and clinical staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage patient bookings, theatre lists, correspondence, and communication to maintain effective workflow.
- Coordinate financial processes including billing, Medicare/private health insurance claims, accounts, and stock management for accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and privacy standards to protect patients and staff.
- Assist with business development, marketing initiatives, and service growth to expand practice offerings.
- Lead planning and logistics for new premises to accommodate growing needs.
- Prior experience in medical practice management, preferably in specialist practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and HR management skills to motivate teams.
- Sound knowledge of Medicare, private health billing, and medical administration systems for accurate processing.
- High organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of practice budgets for effective resource allocation.
- Demonstrated experience in basic budgeting and financial management for informed decision-making.
- Experience with Genie practice management software is desirable for streamlined operations.
