Plastic Surgery Operations Director

As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of daily operations in a specialist plastic surgery practice. This role involves ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and the smooth running of business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of day-to-day practice operations, including leadership of administrative and clinical support staff.
- Supervision of patient bookings, theatre lists, correspondence, and communication.
- Management of financial processes, including billing, Medicare/private health insurance claims, accounts, and stock management.
- Ensuring practice compliance with relevant health, safety, and privacy standards.
- Assistance with business development, marketing initiatives, and service growth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical practice management, preferably in a specialist practice.
- Strong leadership, communication, and HR management skills.
- Sound knowledge of Medicare, private health billing, and medical administration systems.
- High level of organisational skills with ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of practice budgets.
