Operations Leader

We are seeking a visionary Operations Leader to drive our teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Warehousing towards excellence. This role offers the opportunity to shape our operational strategy and foster cross-functional knowledge-sharing.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Operations or Program Management, with a strong technical background. Proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operational strategy that integrates multiple disciplines.
  • Lead hiring, development and growth of Operations functions, ensuring effective performance management and training.
  • Oversee execution of integrated Operations activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Foster collaboration and innovation, driving continuous improvement and supply chain modernization.
  • Establish a sustainable supply chain strategy to support business growth.
  • Implement lean manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture engineering solutions.
  • Drive team efficiency and cost-effectiveness, while optimizing resources.
  • Champion safety across all Operations activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in Operations or Program Management, with an Engineering or technical background.
  • Proven leadership capability, enabling and empowering people to excel.
  • Excellent communication, influence and negotiation skills within a global organisation.
  • Strategic thinker with long-term planning capabilities and tactical execution skills.
  • Strong bias to action and effective decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal resilience and self-motivation, with the ability to build from the ground up.
  • High collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Genuine interest in Operations and a thirst for driving improvements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
