Executive Officer Opportunity

Troocoo is assisting a valued Government client in recruiting an Executive Officer (AO5) for a contract position. This role will provide high-level executive support to the Executive Management Team.

The hourly contract rate is $65.17 p/hour + super. Previous Government experience is highly regarded for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative tasks, including diary management, meeting support, and correspondence processes.
  • Offer accurate, confidential, and timely executive support, including word processing and document coordination.
  • Utilize document management systems and web pages to facilitate tasks.
  • Deliver tasks and activities individually or as a team member, with an emphasis on quality within time constraints.
  • Assist with management of team inbox and coordinate correspondence and corporate documentation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and assist with the resolution of moderately complex to complex policy, project, or operational issues.
  • Proactively assist and pre-empt the priorities for your Executive.
Requirements
  • Advanced organisational skills, including ability to manage competing priorities and work.
  • Experience using databases and record keeping systems.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse numerical and written information.
  • Reliable and adaptable to respond to changes in workloads and priorities.
  • Ability to deal with change, show initiative, and respond quickly to urgent requests.
  • Previous experience as a well-established EA/PA is required.
  • Previous public sector experience will be highly regarded.
