Senior Mental Health Specialist - Eating Disorders Expertise

We seek a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an expert in eating disorders, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to adults with this complex condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of a treatment team delivering intensive-based care for adults with an eating disorder.
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective collaboration between team members.
  • Optimize treatment processes and client outcomes through evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Effectively manage resources to support service delivery and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to facilitate statewide service development.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification or program and registration with the relevant National Board.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • Essential registrations or licenses must remain current during employment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience in mental health or a related field.
  • Experience or interest in eating disorders or other mental health conditions.
  • Experience in clinical and professional supervision.

Note: Certification as an eating disorder credentialed practitioner is desirable but not essential for the role.
