We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our dynamic Energy Practice Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with 3-5 years of experience in energy and resources markets, projects or transactions and contracting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and research background, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be dedicated to learning and committed to professional development in the energy and resources industry.
Our team is at the forefront of market-leading deals within the renewable energy and clean technology sector. We provide commercially astute advice to major Australian and global companies, helping them navigate the complex regulatory environment and achieve their energy transition goals.
The role involves opportunities to work on diverse, cutting-edge and challenging projects and deals, including renewables, energy storage, hydrogen, waste to energy, resource and oil and gas projects and transactions, wholesale and retail contracting, energy market regulation, mining regulation, emissions reduction regulation, carbon regulation and projects, joint venture arrangements, offtake arrangements, supply agreements, compliance and investigations, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in energy and resources markets, projects or transactions and contracting
