Role Overview:

The Senior Medical Affairs Specialist will be responsible for establishing and nurturing key opinion leader (KOL) relationships to enhance the clinical uptake of Binding Site's EXENT products across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the formulation of scientific, publication, and health economic strategies.
  • Oversee the collection and evaluation of both internally and externally generated data, including clinical verification and validation studies, to produce abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and other scientific communications.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, grand rounds, and patient symposiums.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific developments in monoclonal gammopathies and immunological disorders, analyzing Real World Evidence to identify research opportunities and potential for new product or claim development.
  • Lead and coordinate medical research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project objectives and timelines.
  • Implement research strategies effectively to foster scientific progress.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical research or a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role, with a strong background in monoclonal gammopathies or multiple myeloma preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare sector and regulatory frameworks.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • A strong commitment to scientific excellence and ambitious objectives.
  • An advanced degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
