Exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of quality pharmaceutical products as a Medical Affairs Associate. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, promotional review of marketing materials, medical information services, and pharmacovigilance duties.

Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will ensure industry code compliance activities, ensuring applicable advertising codes and legislative requirements are followed for both new and existing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing medical affairs strategy to drive business growth and compliance.
  • Primary contact for promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reviewing promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable advertising codes and registration details.
  • Reviewing literature, technical information, and reference texts to support key messages in training materials, promotional materials, and new product launches.
  • Providing training to new marketing colleagues on developing promotional materials.
  • Preparing training support materials for new product launches and/or new promotional activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in Medical Information and Medical Affairs.
  • A tertiary qualification in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science is desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant advertising codes (e.g., Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, TGA Advertising Code, Consumer Healthcare Products Australia).
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
