Exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of quality pharmaceutical products as a Medical Affairs Associate. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, promotional review of marketing materials, medical information services, and pharmacovigilance duties.

Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will ensure industry code compliance activities, ensuring applicable advertising codes and legislative requirements are followed for both new and existing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing medical affairs strategy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Primary contact for promotional materials, reviewing and approving content to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reviewing literature, technical information, and reference texts to support key messages included in training materials, promotional materials, and new product launches.
  • Providing training to new marketing colleagues on developing promotional materials and ensuring compliance with industry codes.
  • Preparing training support materials for new product launches and/or new promotional activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in Medical Information and Medical Affairs.
  • A tertiary qualification in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science is desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant advertising codes (e.g., Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, TGA Advertising Code, Consumer Healthcare Products Australia).
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
