Warehouse Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our high-performing Parts team at our Launceston branch. In this role, you will bring your experience in warehouse operations to ensure the smooth coordination of logistics and timely supply of quality parts to our valued customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of efficiently picking and packing orders, receiving and dispatching parts and equipment, loading and unloading freight safely and accurately, conducting regular quality control checks and inventory audits, providing high-quality service to both internal and external customers, maintaining accurate computer records, and managing stock levels.

You will be responsible for liaising with freight providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries, as well as working closely with other teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently pick and pack orders
  • Receive and dispatch parts and equipment
  • Load and unload freight safely and accurately
  • Conduct regular quality control checks and inventory audits
  • Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers
  • Maintain accurate computer records and manage stock levels
  • Liaise with freight providers to ensure timely deliveries
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar warehouse environment
  • A current forklift license
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
  • Well-developed computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • A strong customer focus and ability to work autonomously and in a team
