At ProCare Australia, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Family Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing frontline support services to children, young people, and families in the Ipswich Region.
- Provide intensive personal support to families through a range of interpersonal and life skills, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Attend family homes to provide support and advocacy, utilizing a professional practice model.
- Develop and implement safety plans, utilize behavior management strategies, and engage in personal and professional development to maintain an in-depth understanding of trauma and attachment.
- Facilitate and transport individuals and families to required activities and appointments, adhering to departmental policies.
- Completed Certificate IV in Community Service, Child Youth and Family Intervention, or a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a Human Service related field.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role.
- Drivers License Class 'C' (Open), Child Safety and Personal History Check (LCS2), Current Blue Card, and Current First Aid and CRP Certificate.
- A vehicle with full Comprehensive Car Insurance.
The casual hourly rate is $48.03 - $53.85 per hour (base rate 6am - 8pm), $67.24 - $75.39 per hour (Saturday rate), $86.45 - $96.93 per hour (Sunday rate) + Super.
