About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at ClearCompany as a Child and Youth Mental Health Consultant. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical care to children and young people up to the age of 18 years who present with mental disorders, alcohol and other drug issues, and emotional and/or behavioral problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and treatment services to children and young people, including those being treated under the Mental Health Act
- Offer services to rural communities and support the Child and Adolescent Court Liaison Forensic Mental Health Service
- Supervise and teach junior medical staff and medical students
- Participate in clinical governance activities and the after-hours on-call roster
