Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Accommodation Services team as a Support Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality support services to individuals with high support needs.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management. They will also provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and daily living support to clients
  • Assist clients with manual handling and use of aids
  • Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
  • Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience supporting high-needs disability clients
  • Confidence in manual handling and use of aids
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility for varied shifts and rostered work
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word & Outlook)
