Quality Assurance Specialist

A Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of solutions developed in a data migration team. This role involves planning, preparing, executing and reporting quality assurance using superannuation registry systems and SQL tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance of solutions developed in a data migration team
  • Plan, Prepare, Execute and Report Quality Assurance using superannuation registry systems and SQL tools.
  • Analyze test requirements, design and prepare manual and automated test scenarios and scripts which provide comprehensive coverage of given requirements.
  • Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements.
  • Build complex SQL queries to build automation scripts for data migration and reconciliation requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
  • Triage and retest defects raised outside data migration team.
  • Plan and execute go-live data migration testing and reconciliation activities.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
Requirements
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, and SQL.
  • Strong working experience in large scale data migration and reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation validation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, data profiling tools, and test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data reconciliation techniques.
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience in the superannuation industry or a similar financial sector to minimize the learning curve and quickly contribute to the team.
