Senior Rehabilitation Specialist

Workplace health, injury management and safety are crucial aspects of our services. At APM Group's part, Acumen delivers high-standard services across personal injury and occupational health.
- Apply clinical reasoning skills to support people who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries at work
- Take a holistic care approach, working within multidisciplinary teams to support the journey from rehabilitation to healing
- Perform various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists and other allied health professionals
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans. Develop skills as you work across schemes like Work Cover or Department of Veterans Affairs

What makes you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration or eligibility for registration with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Experience in occupational rehabilitation and performing vocational assessments is highly regarded
