Job Summary

The Senior Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. This position will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across finance, commercial, and operations to provide precise financial information that informs business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive process efficiencies in month-end close, reporting, and controls to maximize value-added work.
  • Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, consolidations, and intercompany processes across international entities.
  • Prepare financial statements, note disclosures, and serve as the key liaison for external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and financial governance.
  • Support complex accounting treatments, new product/service launches, and ERP/system transformation projects.
  • Partner with senior finance leaders, business stakeholders, and the broader finance team to deliver analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to strategic initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • CA/CPA qualified with at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role or a Big4/Mid-tier background.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidations in a multi-entity environment.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
