Financial Reporting Director

A finance leadership opportunity has become available in a large publicly listed services group. The ideal candidate will be a partner to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and have significant experience in financial reporting, control and audit requirements for groups of this size.
This role is highly visible and requires strong technical accounting skills, with particular emphasis on AASB and IFRS compliance. The successful applicant will work closely with the CFO to prepare general purpose financial statements including consolidations, deliver ASX reports including 4C, 4D and 4E requirements, manage the external audit relationship and own the balance sheet reporting process and cashflow forecasting.
The role also involves assisting the CFO with tax compliance and reporting, as well as driving technical accounting papers as required. To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Significant experience in financial reporting, control and audit requirements for groups of this size
- Strong technical accounting skills, with particular emphasis on AASB and IFRS compliance
The CFO will provide a tremendous learning environment to refine your skills as you take responsibility in your own right. Salary shall be $140 - $145k package inclusive or super.
