Job Title: Senior Legal Administrator

The Department of Justice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Administrator to play a vital role in supporting the Principal Legal Officer and team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing complex and sensitive matters, requiring strong management skills.

This position involves drafting legal documents, providing paralegal assistance, and supporting the team in managing administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for preparing applications for grants of Probate/Letters of Administration and Landgate documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Providing factual and legal advice to clients
  • Managing administrative staff and Wills Reception Desk
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship or permanent resident status
  • Substantial relevant experience or qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage conflict within a team
