About the Role
Data#3 is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Manager to join our high-performing team, focusing on building and developing a new territory within the midmarket space with a strong emphasis on Microsoft solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the midmarket space, focusing on Microsoft solutions, to build and grow sales territory from the ground up.
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to penetrate new accounts, expand market presence, and drive revenue growth.
- Engage with marketing and solution teams to create targeted campaigns and leverage go-to-market strategies that resonate with midmarket clients.
- Build meaningful and lasting relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique challenges and presenting tailored solutions that drive value.
- Independently manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
- Collaborate with strategic partners and maintain vendor certifications, with a focus on Microsoft products and licensing, to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.
- Provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform sales strategies and improve overall business performance.
About You
- Over 2 years of business development or account management experience with a proven ability to build a territory and grow a client base.
- Demonstrated success in selling IT solutions, with a preference for experience in Microsoft products and licensing.
- Strong ability to initiate and develop relationships with new clients, as well as maintain and grow existing partnerships.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and expand a sales territory, coupled with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A history of ethical business practices and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
