Compliance Expertise Opportunity

We seek a seasoned Compliance professional to lead projects, conceptualize and operationalize compliance frameworks, and advise on licensing and AML regulations in the APAC region.

This role will involve developing new work processes to support regulatory requirements and business expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial compliance, knowledge of payments licensing, exemption, and reporting requirements, as well as familiarity with global KYC, UBO, and AML standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing regulatory changes, providing responses to remain compliant, assessing regulatory gaps, and working with stakeholders to close identified gaps. They will also assist with corporate governance matters, maintain APAC regulatory metrics, and make regulatory filings, including suspicious activity reports.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 7-14+ years of experience in compliance for financial services
  • Knowledge of payments regulatory frameworks and/or other financial regulations
  • Familiarity with global KYC, UBO, and AML standards
  • Understanding of trigger points and content of SARs
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Global collaborator with strong communications skills
  • Able to work independently and lead by example
  • Able to lead project team members and influence stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven track record of execution and delivery
