Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager

The purpose of this role is to oversee the coordination and compliance of Quality and Safety activities across various regulatory authorities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for implementing, maintaining and continuously improving Quality Systems, including calibration of tooling and management of approved suppliers.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations on Quality & Safety & WHS Occurrence Reports and occurrence investigations for incidents relating to maintenance operations.
  3. Develop and deliver training initiatives, manual updates, briefing and programs to enhance location staff performance.
  4. Ensure compliance against relevant Company Manuals and Regulatory requirements.
  5. Carry out regular audits of products, processes, and management systems, including internal and external quality audits.
  6. Monitor Regulatory (aviation & business) approvals/renewals and provide expert advice on implementing preventive actions and process improvements.
  7. Manage and maintain 'Approved Suppliers' list and monitor relevant advice from regulating authorities not limited to Safety Bulletins and Airworthy Directives.
  8. Actively support and participate in the organization's core values and policies and continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Aviation industry as an AME, Licensed Engineer or Aviation Degree qualified.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with CASA, EASA, and other NAA regulations (Specifically CASA part 145).
  • Trained and experienced Quality Auditor.
  • Effective communication, including excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
