Electrical Engineering Opportunities

We are seeking skilled Electrical Engineers to fill a range of positions in our organization.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical and control systems for naval ships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your technical expertise to provide electrical engineering solutions based on relevant experience and knowledge.
  • Design and develop electrical and control systems for naval ship platforms, applying robust systems engineering principles.
  • Conduct technical investigations, root cause analysis, and solution identification to drive improvement.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs to integrate platform electrical and control systems into naval vessels.
  • Produce technical reports and documentation that meet established industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the broader engineering team to engage with different disciplines in the development of new naval ship system designs.
  • Plan and coordinate assigned engineering projects from concept through delivery, including project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings with the engineering team members.
  • Engage in design review meetings with clients.
  • Liaise with clients and subcontractors.
  • Analyze requirements and develop verification plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers as needed.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating on-board installation works, including scopes of work, installation packages, and test procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree – Engineering (Electrical)
  • Relevant skills and experience in electrical engineering functions.
  • Technical and industrial defense experience.
  • Experience with electrical and control systems on naval ship platforms, including medium voltage power design and analysis up to 440VAC.
  • Ability to produce clear and well-presented reports to a suitable quality standard.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with technical shipbuilding regulations and IMO requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD/3D software packages, such as Micro-station or AUTOCAD.
  • Initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and deliver results in high-pressure environments.
  • Capacity to manage, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization and with clients.
