Senior Legal Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Professional to join our team in Katherine, NT.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in law and experience in leading teams. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day legal operations, providing high-quality legal advice and representation, and mentoring junior staff members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Represent the organization in legal and community settings

About You

To qualify for this position, you must be admitted as a solicitor in Australia and eligible to hold a Northern Territory Practising Certificate. You will also bring a minimum of 4 years post-admission legal experience in a relevant practice area.

Apart from these requirements, we encourage applicants who possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work in trauma-informed, culturally responsive ways. Experience working with Aboriginal communities and a commitment to cultural safety is highly regarded.
