About This Role

By working as a Support Professional, you will be able to genuinely make a difference in people's lives by providing assistance and support through accommodation and community engagement.

A Typical Working Day
  • Supporting personal goals and objectives that have been identified for each customer
  • Participating in leisure activities with customers such as swimming, dancing, bowling, horseback riding, going to the gym, and more
  • Providing support in daily living skills like meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, toileting, medication administration, and attending appointments
  • Maintaining positive behaviour support plans; and
  • Completing administrative tasks and submitting regular reports.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) or Cert IV in Disability (CHC43115 or CHC43121) - essential for overnight roster, otherwise desirable
  • Be passionate about assisting others and helping them achieve their full potential
  • Have willingness to assist customers of any gender with personal care (showering, toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to use their comprehensively insured private vehicle, if required, to transport customers to activities or appointments
