Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership:
- Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, respect, and performance among team members.
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress.
- Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE):
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, including environmental factors and remote construction challenges.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and site-specific safety procedures.
- Contract & Commercial Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
- Responsible for claims resolution, variation management, and ensuring timely payments to contractors.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Represent the project at meetings, providing updates and addressing queries from stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, project management).
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
