About this role

Are you a seasoned professional with a proven track record in onshore renewable energies? Do you have experience managing multidisciplinary projects and developing practical solutions to complex problems?

We are seeking a skilled Onshore Wind Project Manager to join our team. As part of a growing multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for undertaking tasks including:

Project Management of renewable projects
  • Working on a portfolio of onshore wind and hybrid projects in Australia and globally, delivering services along the entire project lifecycle
  • Managing and supporting diverse technical and commercial advisory services, including owners engineering from early stage through construction and O&M, feasibility and desktop studies, and strategic advisory
  • Developing practical solutions to multifaceted problems
  • Managing complex, multidisciplinary projects and communicating with clients in onshore wind / hybrid projects
  • Supporting clients to successfully deliver offshore wind projects in Australia and globally
  • Contributing to technical spearhead topics (design and engineering) and improvements applicable to the Australian market
  • Contract management on behalf of client and internally
Business development
  • Supporting and leading various business development and tender activities
  • Having good knowledge of our services to present to clients
  • Leveraging internal expertise to deliver successful projects and client satisfaction
  • Identifying partners and contractors to complement offerings; identifying candidates to grow the onshore wind team in Australia
  • Reporting to the Head of Wind for Australia

As an ideal candidate, you will have 5–7+ years of engineering / project management experience in onshore renewable energies (wind, solar, BESS), a proven track record, industry reputation, and network in Australia.

You will also have experience in developing and managing a team in Australia, thorough understanding of onshore renewable project development, interfaces, design and engineering, project economics, risks, and commercial aspects.
