**Job Role Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled leader to manage our therapeutic residential programs in the South-West Brisbane region. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing best practices, and fostering a team culture that prioritizes staff wellbeing and outcomes-focused care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Manage safety planning, crisis response, and person-centred strategies
  • Embed a therapeutic framework by overseeing best practice implementation of Children and Young People's tailored care
  • Develop and manage program rosters
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to care teams
  • Meet OOHC reporting requirements and maintain accurate documentation

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a minimum Certificate IV qualification in a relevant discipline. They will also have significant managerial experience in residential OOHC, with strong understanding of practice, legislative, and staff support requirements.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

  • Experience working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities
  • Current HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Certificate or equivalent
  • Valid unrestricted Australian drivers licence
  • Experience working with young people with complex trauma
