Strategic HR Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Manager to lead our client's team in driving business growth through effective talent management and organizational development.

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various functions.
  • HR Partnerships: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement HR programs that drive business results, including performance management, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.
  • Culture & Employer Branding: Enhance the organization's reputation as a desirable employer by developing engaging onboarding experiences, employee value proposition, and attraction campaigns.
  • Compliance & Employee Relations: Ensure adherence to employment laws, modern awards, and work health and safety regulations; advise on employee relations matters.
  • Capability Development: Analyze skill gaps and develop training programs to enhance employee capabilities, particularly in frontline operations and fast-scaling environments.
  • Analytics & Systems: Monitor talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and turnover rates, to inform data-driven decisions and optimize recruitment processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR leadership or talent acquisition, preferably within retail, FMCG, or consumer sectors.
  • Proven track record of building and executing successful talent acquisition strategies, supporting both frontline operations and head office teams.
  • Strong HR generalist knowledge, including employment relations, compliance, and work health and safety.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levels.
  • Commercial acumen with experience linking workforce planning to business performance.
