Senior Environmental Manager

Lead a team of professionals and oversee the execution of environmental projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. Primary responsibilities include day-to-day project management, client consultation, and sales efforts to grow the company.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of direct reports and ensure effective project execution
  • Prepare and execute reports and other client correspondence
  • Provide oversight, quality assurance, analysis, laboratory testing, and field services as required to meet client expectations
  • Client consultation and maintenance
  • Sales and marketing efforts to develop new business and grow the company
  • Preparation of proposals and contract documents

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting
  • Professional Geologist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly preferred
  • Project experience with Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) required

Beneficial Experience:

  • Soil and groundwater sampling
  • Lead Inspector
  • Mold Inspections
  • Air and vapor Sampling
  • Wetlands Delineations

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift and/or move 35-100 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to accomplish field tasks under adverse weather and/or site conditions
  • Working environment can be moderately noisy to loud in nature
  • Some assignments may require working in confined spaces or climbing and working at above average heights
