Empowerment Specialist

We are seeking a passionate advocate committed to helping people with disability achieve their employment goals.

This role is focused on providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants in the Inclusive Employment Assistance (IEA) program. You will work closely with individuals to create personalised support plans and assist with workplace communication and accommodations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct Support: Provide individual advocacy to participants, helping them understand their rights and responsibilities, develop employment plans, and build confidence through coaching.
  • Systemic Advocacy: Identify and report systemic issues to contribute to broader advocacy efforts and influence positive change in policies and practices.
  • Caseload Management: Manage your own caseload, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and compliance with all program guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will require a proven track record of working with and advocating for people with disability, as well as strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, contribute to initiatives that positively impact our community, and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment.
