Work as a Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team.

This position is responsible for efficiently allocating breakdowns, scheduled maintenance and other repairs to technicians as required and ensuring internal/external customer needs are identified and met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Book service work for retail and rental equipment.
  • Coordinate and allocate service and breakdown jobs to technicians.
  • Maintain information relating to service and breakdown jobs.
  • Plan daily work to ensure the labour available is utilised to its full capacity.
  • Coordinate quoted Additional Repair jobs.
  • Coordinate 3rd party suppliers for breakdown jobs.
  • Monitor service Work In Progress.
  • Monitor Technician's work hours on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role where required to control/coordinate a team of remote technicians.
  • Experience in the Material Handling Industry or Industrial Services Industry.
  • Proven experience using an ERP system.
  • Superior communication, interpersonal & time management skills.
  • Strong telephone skills and experience responding to a high volume of customer queries over the phone.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • High attention to detail.
