Ruminant Sector Specialist

The Ruminant Sales Manager position is responsible for developing and implementing a successful sales strategy for the ruminant sector of Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include ensuring consolidated sales revenue budgets are met or exceeded through effective sales efforts, providing technical presentations to customers, managing pricing in coordination with distributors, and providing technical and product knowledge support to customers and distributors.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in animal science, nutrition, animal husbandry, or a related field would be an advantage.
- Three years and above experience in technical sales in the ruminant sector preferred.
- Outstanding presentation, selling, and negotiating skills.
- Capability to communicate value-added propositions using sound technical and commercial principles.
- Results-oriented.
- Clear, persistent, patient, and proactive communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work in an unsupervised capacity while maintaining focus.
- Excellent distributor management and relationship-building skills.
This position is based in Australia or New Zealand and will require extensive domestic travel to visit major ruminant farms and regions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the ruminant sector and be able to develop and implement a successful sales strategy.
