About the Role

We are currently seeking banking and finance lawyers with expertise in corporate finance, derivatives, structured finance, financial markets compliance, and project and infrastructure finance to join Peerpoint. If you are a highly skilled and self-driven lawyer with top-tier technical experience in these areas, we are keen to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on corporate finance, derivatives, and structured finance
  • Assist in financial markets compliance implementation and project and infrastructure finance
  • Work with clients to deliver high-quality results in banking and finance
Requirements
  • A right to work and reside in Australia
  • Qualified to practice in Australia – unrestricted
  • A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a top-tier law firm and a leading financial institution or corporate
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction is preferred
  • Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level while working as a consultant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Client service-focused, with an exemplary client service ethic and commitment
  • Strong commercial/business acumen
  • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous, and highly credible
  • Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy
