About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Plant Project Engineer to join our team at Technical Resources. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering equipment packages to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver equipment packages to our clients, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Work closely with our EPCM design team to scope the extent of the package and provide advice to our clients.
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations and participate in tender selection and recommendation for award.
  • Coordinate with our procurement team to prepare tender documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Progressively evaluate supplier/contractor progress and drive mitigation plans where required.
  • Provide direction to supplier/contractor, including variations, and coordinate review of all supplier/contractor deliverables.
  • Work with our quality team to complete the QA/QC program, including inspection, testing, and resolution of NCR.
  • Manage and support our procurement team to address claims from supplier/contractor.
  • Coordinate with our site team to deliver the package on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Approval and closing of document deliverables, including MDR and As-Built drawings.
  • Assess progress for payment and instigate warranty claims where required.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have package engineering experience for equipment typically used on a crushed and convey iron ore processing plant, including crushers, feeders, screens, rock breakers, dust collectors, conveyor components, winches, magnets, weighers, hydraulic power units, and pumps.
