Compassionate Caregiver Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in providing personal care and support to elderly residents with complex needs.

As a Compassionate Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and compassion to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents
  • Assist with daily living activities
  • Administer medication as required
  • Document progress notes and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor resident conditions and report any concerns to the nursing staff
Requirements for Success:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors and/or mental health issues
  • Hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (Medication Administration) or higher
  • A certificate in Mental Health would be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles and infection control guidelines
  • Experience in aged care and/or mental health settings or comparable environments
  • First aid certification is desirable
  • Flu and Covid vaccinations are mandatory
  • NDIS Workers Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one
