The Role

We are seeking two Early Childhood Educators (Certificate III) to join our well-established service at Maitland. One position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis, while the second position will be offered on a temporary full-time basis until January 2025.

You will have the opportunity to evolve in your role and progress within the organisation through various learning and development pathways.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  1. A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  2. Knowledge of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting
  3. Experience with Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices

You will also need to hold:

  • An approved Certificate III level qualification for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
  • A Child protection qualification
  • A Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
  • A Working with Children Check verification number
