About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Security Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our data centers and customer data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a secure environment for our people, assets, and customer data.
  • Implement and maintain physical security measures at our data center sites.
  • Manage access control systems and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct investigations and write reports on security-related matters.
  • Test and maintain security systems, including alarms and security devices.
  • Train employees on data center security procedures.
  • Identify and assess potential security risks to the data center.
  • Develop and implement plans to mitigate security risks.
  • Promote security awareness among employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial or industrial work experience, with a focus on using data and metrics to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work and travel to data centers in the cluster and abroad.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Management experience of vendors.
  • Security industry qualifications or certification.
  • English verbal and written communication skills.
