Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with product teams to provide technical guidance on architectural decisions and database design.
  • Apply your expertise to resolve complex database issues and optimize database performance.
  • Participate in incident response and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve business-critical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and methodologies, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring
  • 3-5 years of experience with highly available cloud data platforms, preferably AWS, with a focus on relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring solutions, such as DPA, New Relic, or Sumo Logic.
  • Strong ownership ethic, self-driven, and pragmatic approach to solving complex scalability problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at various technical and non-technical levels.
  • Experience with database schema deployment tools and products.
