Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our organization in a senior financial accounting role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversight of lease accounting processes aligning with AASB16 standards.
    • Monthly, quarterly and year-end tasks including preparation of management reporting and analysis.
    • Tax compliance including income tax returns, FBT, GST and BAS in consultation with external advisors.
    • Contribution to the preparation of financial statements.
    • Support for business unit leaders in strategies for debtors recovery.
    • Provision of guidance on financial processes and internal controls.
    • Analysis and recommendations on operating performance variances.
    • Implementation of continuous process improvement initiatives for compliance and robust control.
    • Leadership of ad-hoc projects as directed by senior finance executives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications: CA or CPA accounting certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed attention and focus.
  • Prior experience in lease accounting (AASB16/IFRS16).
  • Previous work experience in large-scale dynamic FMCG/Retail environments.
  • Bonus advantage: prior training in Big 4 chartered environment.
