Job Description:

The role of Senior Civil Engineer involves spearheading the delivery of complex engineering projects that meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities include overseeing quality, costs, and schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to project requirements.

Key deliverables include developing innovative yet practical designs for various projects, ensuring they are prepared to a high standard and aligned with client objectives.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • CPEng and RPEQ qualifications (desired)
  • 10-12+ years of demonstrated design experience
  • Proven Project Management experience in residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental projects
  • Sound knowledge in hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, earthworks, retaining walls, sewer, and water reticulation, road geometric design, and pavement design
  • Ability to critically assess and review designs by others
  • Experience in producing detailed engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of construction methods and their impact on design
  • Understanding of design and commercial risk
  • Demonstrable contract management experience
  • Effective communication with project managers and architects
