Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

A successful company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their team.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project programmes
  • Lead project delivery from inception through to completion
  • Ensure construction programmes are followed and deliver on project quality to programme
  • Identify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when required
  • Manage project expenditure and cash flow
  • Oversee external engineering design aspects of projects
  • Manage design requirements
  • Supervise subcontractors on site
  • Maintain HSEQ standards on the project
  • Prepare progress reports

What You Need
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish with a builder/head contractor
  • Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams
  • Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
  • Strong project financial reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
