About the Role

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Educator to join our team. As a Workplace Educator, you will play a critical role in delivering educational programs and initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance within residential aged care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and Delivering Induction and Onboarding Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive induction and onboarding programs for newly hired employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Delivering Education and Training: Design and deliver education and training programs to all Residential Aged Care employees, focusing on role expectations and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Conducting Training Needs Analysis: Identify training gaps and develop a learning plan to address these needs, ensuring employees have the necessary skills to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders, including Regional Support Managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination of educational initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Completion of Adult Training Education - Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar, with demonstrated experience in delivering education and training programs.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards, as well as clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
