Business Strategy Director Position

We are seeking a seasoned Business Strategy Director to drive our financial solutions forward. This key role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with our overall objectives, ensuring the company remains competitive and agile in a rapidly changing market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and implement the company strategy internally and externally to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish a centralized program office to drive strategy development and implementation.
  • Lead the formal strategic planning process, including long-term trends and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop the business strategic plan, including a detailed operating plan to support objectives.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team members to steer strategic initiatives with Managing Directors.
  • Monitor strategic actions with appropriate metrics to measure progress towards objectives.
  • Lead regular Leadership synergy discussions with MDs and the Leadership Team.
  • Ensure broad understanding of strategic goals and priorities across all levels of the business.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support key initiatives.
  • Facilitate key strategic initiatives from inception to outcomes.
  • Ensure departmental planning projects align with organizational strategic priorities.
  • Develop inclusive planning processes for actionable and quantitative strategy milestones.

This position requires a strong academic background in finance, business, or economics, with an MBA preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interaction with senior levels of the business.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years' experience in management consulting or financial services is required. Additionally, the following skills and qualifications are necessary:

  • Strategic thinking and planning.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Communication and presentation.
  • Problem-solving and analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. A proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency is also essential.
