Summary: We are seeking a professional to undertake research and design state-wide customer education and training sessions and workshops in relation to using the Department's SIS Classic school administration solution and its replacement.


The Role: The SIS Training Officer will monitor and evaluate ongoing training programs relative to SIS Classic administration and its replacement implementation and implement improvements and changes as required. The position requires travel to provide training to school staff located in regional WA.


Responsibilities:



  • Design and deliver technical training and development programs and activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate ongoing training programs to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Implement improvements and changes to training programs as required.
  • Travel to provide training to school staff located in regional WA.

Requirements:



  • Considerable experience in identifying, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating technical training and development programs and activities.
  • Well-developed skills and experience in achieving outcomes and delivering quality products and services consistent with customer needs and defined quality expectations.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills to undertake consultation, collaboration, negotiation and to deliver training programs and courses.
  • Well-developed written communication skills, including experience in the development of training and development programs and courses.
