Administrative Talent Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Talent Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new employees, maintaining relevant databases and spreadsheets, and working closely with procurement colleagues to ensure a streamlined management of candidate engagement activities.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to utilize your expertise in project administration and recruitment support. As a Talent Administrator, you will be required to manage moderately complex to complex tasks under limited direction.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including coordinating documentation, scheduling inductions, and collating employee information
- Maintain relevant databases, spreadsheets, and activity tracking documentation for reporting responsibilities
- Work closely with procurement colleagues to ensure efficient management of candidate engagement activities
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, including liaising with stakeholders regarding onboarding and offboarding requirements
- Contribute to the development of process flows and process improvement initiatives
- Provide administrative support to program recruitment activities, including interview setup, recruitment documentation, and related tasks
- Liaise with talent leads to facilitate room booking, prepare interview schedules, and issue supporting paperwork and documentation
- Notify unsuccessful candidates via email, deal with requests for interview feedback, and provide administrative support for successful recruitment campaigns
- Use good judgment, expertise, and knowledge to contribute to decision-making, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles, or relevant operating instructions and procedures
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven ability to act with discretion and integrity when managing sensitive and confidential information
- A customer service-focused approach to liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience in successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results on time
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively at all levels
- Well-developed organizational skills, with the ability to proactively approach responsibilities
- The ability to manage staff while identifying training needs across a team and promoting professionalism
Prior experience in a recruitment project environment and knowledge of Australian electoral law and practice are highly desirable.
